Lady Falcon Basketball Program Info:

Head Coach

·         Coach Dave McClurg is the Varsity Coach for the Torrey Pines Lady Falcons and runs the entire Lady Falcon Basketball Program

Summer Program

·         UPDATE – the KICK-OFF for our summer program will be on Saturday June 19^th and Sunday June 20^th from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon for both JV and Varsity

·         this was a suggestion by the girls to have a joint 2-day kick-off to get to know each other and to prep for league games on the 21^st

·         The Summer Program and League runs from Monday June 21^st through Thursday July 15^th and is for both JV and Varsity.

·         Both the JV and Varsity teams cap off the summer program by participating in the San Diego Classic Tournament July 16^th through July 18^th. 

·         Varsity will participate in the USD team camp June 25^th through June 27th

Summer League Game Schedule

·         The JV and Varsity league game schedules were handed out (I’ve attached them to this email as well)

·         JV games are in Cardinal

·         Varsity games are in Gold

Practices – All practices are at the TP gym

Varsity

·         Practices will be from 8:30 to 10:00 am – Monday through Friday

·         Update -- On 6/22 Varsity will have practice from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m

·         The weeks of 6/28 and 7/12 Varsity will practice at 5:30 to 7:00 pm on non game days as there are basketball camps during the day

·         Practices on game days will be a shoot-around

JV

·         Practices will be from 10:00 am to 11:30 am – Monday through Friday

·         The weeks of 6/28 and 7/12 JV will practice at 7:00 pm to 8:30 on non game days as there are basketball camps during the day

All players MUST purchase an AAU membership.  Please go to www.aausports.org click on “join AAU” -- purchase your membership and print out your confirmation.  You must bring your confirmation to your first practice and turn in to me or your coach.
